- The whole town is a World Heritage Site.
We will start our adventure in Évora with a visit to the Garcia de Resende Theater (Italian style), and the remains of the Roman Baths at the City Hall. The streets of Évora are simply delightful with different details all over.
- Visit to the Roman Catholic Cathedral (completed in 1250), its Cloister and its Tower (€3.50 per person - Not included), the Roman Temple of Diana, the Church of Saint Francis and the Chapel of Bones (€ 5.00 per person - Not included)
- After lunch meeting point: Praça do Giraldo (Giraldo´s Square), next to the Renaissance fountain
NOTE: The continuity of the visit to the city will depend on the customers' choice regarding the wine tasting.
- Tasting of 3 Wines at Adega da Catuxa - Quinta de Valbom with visit to the Winery.
- If there was no booking for a wine tasting, as it is optional, we will continue the tour, passing by the Palace of King Manuel I and by the University of Évora (founded in 1559, it was the second university founded in Portugal)
